Wenchang Emperor God

Wenchang Dijun, also known as Gengsheng Yongming Tianzun, Zitong Dijun, Lei Ying Dijun, Qiqu Lingying Tianzun, Baode Hongren Dadi, Baoguang Chunyi Tianzun, with the full title "Great Emperor of Nine Heavens Who Establishes the Primordial, Protects Life, Assists Teaching, Guides Transformation, Brings Eternal Joy, Grants Lasting Blessings, and Responds Spiritually". He is a deity revered in Chinese folklore and Taoism, who presides over the literary success, official rank, and emolument of scholars. With utmost sincerity, we pay homage. In his unpretentious imperial realm, the Jade True Celebration Palace, he manifests ninety-eight transformations, displaying countless divine wonders. Flying luan birds bring enlightenment everywhere, and with wish-fulfilling power, he saves from calamities and nurtures life. Possessing utmost filial piety and benevolence, his merits encompass Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. Neither arrogant nor indulging, he fulfills his duties as an official of Heaven, Earth, and Water. His merits and virtues are immeasurable, and his divine power is unfathomable. Of great compassion and great vows, great saint and great benevolence, he is the Assistant of the Nine Heavens Primordial, Lord of Transformation and Enlightenment, True Monarch who oversees official salaries, duties, and imperial examinations, Qiqu Spiritual Response, Great Emperor of Preserving Virtue and Boundless Benevolence.
