Description
This design is for a Volkswagen T3
You don't need to make any modifications! no drilling holes or using glue! it simply clicks under the speedometer cover
The can holder is suitable for the standard 330ml can size. Of course, it is also suitable for larger cans with the same diameter
Installation instructions: start at the front of the speedometer cover on the underside and pull it towards you, after that you will find that the entire front part is already free, now on the back there are 2 clips holding the rest, pull them up and the speedometer cover is off, slide the lip between the speedometer cover and reattach. There are many videos on YouTube showing how to do this!
In the last year, I had no problems with PLA because the summer was mild and no high temperatures occurred. At higher temperatures, I recommend printing the cup holder with PETG or ABS. PLA has a glass transition temperature of 50 degrees. Above 50 degrees, it will start to deform. Heat builds up in the car, and these temperatures can unfortunately be reached quickly
