This is a press-type perler bead pen designed for craft enthusiasts, combining perler bead storage and precise retrieval functions to make perler bead creation more efficient and convenient
- Structural Design: The entire pen consists of a bead compartment, barrel, press button, and tip, with a fully modular design for easy disassembly and cleaning
- Convenient Refilling: The tail bead compartment features a 23.5mm double-threaded interface, compatible with common small perler bead bottles on the market. It also comes with a dedicated cap, allowing independent use without a bottle. Refilling is as simple as twisting it open
- Visible Remaining Quantity: An observation window on the side of the pen barrel allows real-time viewing of the remaining beads inside, preventing interruptions during creation. It is recommended to print with transparent or translucent materials
- Precise Dispensing: Only a 5mm diameter spring is needed, installed behind the button. A light press pushes and dispenses a single perler bead, ensuring accurate retrieval without spills
- 3D printing friendly: The model requires no complex supports, is suitable for FDM 3D printing, and allows for material changes based on needs, balancing practicality and personalization
After removing supports, it is recommended to use a 3mm round file to polish the inner tube. If you don't have a file, you can cut sandpaper into thin strips and insert them to polish, as vertical printing may result in layer lines and some stringing, which will affect bead sliding if not polished
Installation only requires tightening the parts in order. Installing the button spring needs a little patience and can be done with tweezers
2026/4/7 Structural Update:
1. A small triangular protrusion has been added to one side of the button. When installing, the protruding side should face the bead compartment. Its purpose is to nudge the beads up and down within the pen barrel's inner tube during pressing, reducing the chance of beads getting stuck
2. The position of the observation window on the pen barrel has been modified to better suit viewing habits during use
3. Reduced the model's wall thickness and changed the internal infill to 0. This saves material while increasing transparency for improved aesthetics and easier observation of remaining beads
4. The button window on the pen barrel has been widened, making button installation easier
