We always have a bunch of glasses lying around that need to be washed right away because no one can remember which glass belongs to whom.
That’s why I designed a simple name tag that fits standard Ikea glasses. Unfortunately, the dimensions of the glasses aren’t very precise, so the tag might slide back and forth on one side of the glass, and on the other side, you might not even be able to attach it. However, each of our glasses has a spot where the label fits perfectly. Just slide it over the rim of the glass until it snaps into place.
 

I highly recommend PETG

PLA breaks more easily. Furthermore, unlike PLA, PETG is food-safe (though there is also food-safe PLA) and can be safely put in the dishwasher.

Lighter colors work much better. Black also works very well—it’s simple and not too flashy. It looks even better in person than in the pictures!
 

I’ve included a video below that shows how to create a customized name for both the 3MF and STL files. It’s not rocket science - this is just for those who aren’t very familiar with the software.

Unfortunately, the dimensional accuracy of the glasses is very poor, and as a result, it may slide back and forth on one side of the glass, and on the other, you might not even be able to attach it.
