Description
This turntable was designed to enable quick and easy 3D scans. Its smooth, quiet rotation allows objects to be captured cleanly from various angles.
The design is simple, stable, and easy to print. The turntable consists of two parts and can be easily assembled with a suitable ball bearing. The total diameter of the turntable is 25 cm, providing ample space for small to medium-sized objects.
🔧 Required Hardware:
- 1× Ball Bearing 6004ZZ (e.g., available from Bambu Lab)
(Note: A different bearing was used in the pictures.)
🧪 Tested Materials:
- Glossy black PETG (provides particularly good results for 3D scans)
💡 Further Notes:
- Also works perfectly with PLA or other filaments
- Ideal for small to medium-sized objects
- Optionally, 4 anti-slip feet made of TPU can be printed and attached to the bottom with superglue
- For scanning, it is advisable to also attach 3D scan markers
A practical tool for anyone who wants to get into the world of 3D scanning without much effort.
