This is my biggest project uploaded to MakerWorld so far

The P2S, X2D AMS riser / flipper has been thought out and designed down to the smallest detail to achieve the most perfect final result possible

By raising the glass plate by 38 mm, scratching of the PTFE tube on the glass plate is prevented

The riser has an integrated lock for the glass pane, ensuring it stays securely in position. However, by removing the locking plates on the front and back, the glass plate can be easily removed

On the back, it can be adjusted how far the glass plate can be pushed open

Additionally, a tilting mechanism has been integrated, allowing the AMS to be securely tilted backward. In this position, it remains stable as long as there is at least approximately 1.2 kg of filament in the AMS

(The tilt angle was deliberately designed to prevent the entire riser from tipping backward when the AMS is fully loaded (4 kg of filament). While a steeper angle would cause the AMS to remain in this position even when empty, the center of gravity would shift too far backward with a fully loaded AMS, posing a risk of tipping backward.)

On the back, the AMS is secured with two screw bolts and two hex nuts

The front feet are designed flexibly: they can be removed or moved along the Y-axis at any time to allow for optimal adjustment

Print Profile 1:

  • All-Printed Version

Print Profile 2:

  • Instead of the self-printed screw connection, M10x40 screws and M10 nuts are used
  • To protect against wear on the riser, a sleeve for the screw is provided in the print profile

Print Profile 3:

  • This print profile is ideal for all users who do not own an AMS or want to save filament and can do without the tilting mechanism

Print Profile 4:

  • All-Printed Version "without USB and Bambu Lab cutout" = “CLEAN Version”

The two front riser parts “without USB and Bambu Lab cutout” are also compatible with all other print versions.

This sketch contains the dimensions of the suitable counterpart for side mounting in the AMS riser:
