Description
AMS HT Simple Airflow Riser v2
One of the issues that was highlighted with the v1 design was that the lack of rubber feet would allow the AMS HT to move when in use. I have added small turrets to allow 6x2mm silicone bumpers to be stuck to the bottom to help keep it in place.
I noticed that the surface under my AMS HT was getting quite hot during drying, particularly with filaments requiring hotter temperatures (ABS etc).
This is a simple riser to raise the AMS HT up and allow a bit more airflow underneath. This is best printed in ABS or ASA, as it stands a far better chance surviving the temperatures underneath the AMS HT.
I have split the two halves so they fit on the bed of an A1/P1/X1 series printer. Simply print and slide the two halves together.
The fit of the two parts is designed to be snug and provide a solid base for the AMS HT.
I have included the 3mf for the riser as a single part for those with larger format printers. There is also a H2D print profile to print the riser as a single part.
