Description

Since I recently have been making a series of coaster designs, the correct ironing settings the top surfaces have become somewhat a quest for me. When I print the coasters, mine desings have an ironing the base of the coaster (on 4.0mm) and on a top surface of the coast and often those ironings are made with different colors and not so rarely they produce different results. Also, I found out that different filament brands or even different colors of same brands produce different results tweaking ironing speed and flow.

So, in order to have consecutive results I created this multi color, multi-level, multi brand ironing test plate. It combines 2 colors – baseline that you use as reference (in the pictures it is white) and another color that you like tune in for ironing. Or you can use 2 new colors to test their best settings. It shows results for 36 different ironing settings times 2 for the 2 colors = 72 tests in one print!

I hope this will help you produce better results on your ironing 😊 If you like the model I will make full 4 color AMS version.
