To achieve a truly smooth and professional result, you can improve the surface with a simple post-production process.
🎯 Recommended method (easy but powerful)
1️⃣ Initial sanding
Use sandpaper grit 220–320
Remove the most obvious print lines
Don't press too hard → let the paper do the work
2️⃣ Filler primer
Apply a light coat of spray filler primer
Ideal for plastic (PLA/PETG)
Allow to dry completely
👉 The primer fills micro-layers and evens out the surface
3️⃣ Fine sanding
Use grit 400–600
Smooth the surface until it is uniform
4️⃣ Second coat (optional but recommended)
Repeat primer + sanding
Much cleaner and more professional result
🎨 Final finish
You can paint with acrylic colors
Or leave an elegant matte effect

Better several light passes than one heavy one
Use side light to see defects
Ideal for achieving an “industrial mold” effect
