Description

This is a MW5 inspired terrain set piece for Battletech maps. I wanted to capture the scrapyard feel with this distressed and abandoned starship part, while offering an oversized battlefield obstacle. It creates a line of site interruption and ambush point, and looks cool doing it!

Update - I've released a smaller companion piece for this one that can be found here

Designer's tip: I've added a filament change in the print profile at layer 13. Start with the terrain color of your choice and switch to silver or grey. It adds nice contrast to this piece and (the one with the brown hexes in my images was printed this way). That said, this is probably the easiest paint work you could ask for if you print it in a metal color and hit the hexes with a base layer of Army or Citadel paint.

Print this at .4mm without modifying the settings and it will come out great. It can be printed without supports, but I have added them and found the results much better.

For additional terrain, see my Mech Repair Bay, Objective Base, Simple City Buildings, 2 color no AMS City Buildings, stone column terrain set and I've even uploaded the correctly sized bases I build all this stuff from. If you enjoy my work, please leave a profile rating and I always appreciate a boost.

Thanks for checking out my designs and Happy Gaming!
