Description
đ¨ V2 UPDATE AVAILABLE - NOW 100% SUPPORTLESS! đ¨
Iâve uploaded a massive upgrade to this design. V2 has been completely re-engineered with 45-degree angles and chamfers so it prints entirely without supports. No more wasting filament on giant tree supports! Both the Wall-Mount and Drawer-Hook versions are combined into one page.
My glasses kept just getting tossed into my nightstand drawer and picking up scratches. I wanted a fixed spot for them inside the drawer and since I have cats, leaving them on top of the nightstand is not really an option.
This is my 3rd fully self-designed print. It hooks onto the inner wall of the drawer and holds the glasses securely in place.
Tested with IKEA ALEX and MALM drawers. The hook fits drawer walls around 12.8mm thick. PLA stretches slightly on installation, so it should also fit similar drawers â just measure your drawer wall thickness before printing.
Dimensions:
- Depth inside drawer: ~68mm
- Protrudes into drawer: ~37mm
- Hook width: ~12.8mm
Print settings (also included in the profile):
- Infill: 15% Gyroid
- Supports: Tree Auto, build plate only
- Brim: Outer only, 3mm
Print time: ~1h 30min (P2S)
Filament: ~63g
Also available as a wall-mounted adhesive version
