FDM Printing Recommendations

• Optimization: Designed for highly reliable FDM printing. Due to the flat-bottom hexagonal geometry, these bases print exceptionally well directly on the build plate. The top-surface textures are designed specifically to minimize stepping and maximize detail clarity without complex orientations.
• Layer Height: Recommended 0.08mm to 0.12mm (Fine). While standard layer heights work, pushing your printer to a lower layer height ensures the intricate grating, tiny bolts, and recessed textures resolve cleanly without looking stepped.
• Supports: No supports required. Designed to be printed completely flat on the build plate for a perfect, hassle-free finish.
• Nozzle: While easily printable with a standard 0.4mm nozzle, switching to a 0.2mm nozzle will dramatically improve the sharpness of the micro-details, specifically the tiny rivets and surface scoring.
• Assembly: Print-in-place as a single solid piece. They are ready for priming, painting, and having your models mounted straight off the build plate.
