Pen Holder Apple Pencil /Pro & Wacom Pro Pen 3

A pen holder for Apple Pencil (or Apple Pencil Pro) & Wacom Pro Pen 3, to safely store the pen on your desk.

Also suitable for other pens up to approximately 9.2 mm in diameter.

Special Features

• Updated Compatible with Apple Pencil / Pro and Wacom Pro Pen 3
• Updated "Fuzzy skin" surface for an invisible Z-seam... the extra print time is worth it :-)
  
• Composed of two parts to insert weights into the base.
  • 37 mm in diameter and up to 6.5 mm in height can be filled.
  • I used 2 stainless steel "M12" washers (37 mm x 3 mm each) for this, which provide enough weight so that the pen holder stands solidly.

  • These can be obtained, for example, at hardware stores or online (Example: https://tinyurl.com/mry3fk5w ) for little money.

    You can also use any other weights (smaller washers, lead weights from model making, etc.).

  • After inserting the weights, the bottom and top parts are glued together with some super glue. When using the aforementioned washers as weights, they are held in place by a small projection in the top part. When using other weights, please secure them with a drop of super glue to prevent them from falling out.
  • Since these are two separate objects, they can also be easily printed in different colors if desired.
    
• TPU Insert
  • The insert is printed from TPU, so the pen cannot be scratched/damaged.
  • I used TPU 90A from Bambulab, which in my opinion represents a good compromise for this purpose.
  • The insert is placed into the stand from above and can therefore also be replaced later if necessary.
  • Currently supported are Apple Pencil (including Pro), the Wacom Pro Pen 3 and pens up to approximately 9.2 mm in diameter.
  • Further versions of the TPU insert are planned.

Printing Notes

• For optimal quality, I chose a 0.12 mm layer height. For faster printing, 0.16 mm or 0.20 mm layer height can also be easily selected.
• Please dry the TPU before printing for correspondingly good results.
