Ultimate Welding Helmet Light Mount

Add a light to your welding helmet so you can see better!  Originally designed for ARCCAPTAIN brand welding helmets. However, can be used also for other brands of helmets too.  Three different styles of base bottoms are included to fit your specific needs.  Individually they print approximately in 1 hour and 15 minutes with a material cost of a “whopping” .28 cents each!  All three at once takes a little over 2 hours.    

The mount was designed around use of the Amazon MARSUT ASIN: B0DZ6JMGRN work light.  (See photos.)  The factory style mount--included with the MARSUT is a cheap clip-on style base--which can't rotate light downwards significantly when mounted on top of welding helmet.  It's important to get the light in front of you because your visibility is greatly diminished when viewed through a welding helmet lens.  An innovative solution was needed.  

You can choose spot or LED flood lighting options.  It currently cost $10 on AMAZON (2026).  Comes with USB plug charging cable and will last 2 hours of continuous use.  

To secure the mount to the helmet--I used some 30# Gorilla double sided mounting tape #6055002.  The light itself simply clips into the 3D printed mount.   

The light comes in handy in scenarios where you can't get light to see before you strike an arc to weld or to grind.  Perfect gift for the DIY's or Welding enthusiast in your life.
