Description
The Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet (in English: Super Hornet) is a multirole fighter, twin-engine, fourth-generation aircraft of American origin with all-weather capability, designed to be embarked on aircraft carriers.
It was developed in the 1990s by the company McDonnell Douglas (integrated into Boeing since 1997), based on the F/A-18C/D Hornet, but being a larger and more advanced evolution.
