A heavy-duty, ultra-versatile S-hook featuring a 360-degree rotatable swivel joint. Unlike standard static hooks, this design allows your hanging items to rotate freely, making it the perfect solution for closets, kitchens, and workshops where orientation matters.

This model is Print-in-Place, meaning it prints as a single, fully functional mechanical assembly without requiring any manual parts-assembly!

✨ Key Features

  • 360° Rotatable Swivel: The top and bottom hooks rotate independently, allowing you to face your items in any direction.
  • Built-in Breakaway Support: Engineered with an internal "Support Fin" that ensures the horizontal swivel prints flawlessly without "blobs" or sagging, while snapping off instantly with a simple twist.
  • Parametric Power: Fully customizable using the MakerWorld Customizer or OpenSCAD. Adjust rod diameters, thickness, and strength to fit your specific needs.
  • Structural Integrity: Designed to print completely flat on the build plate, ensuring the "grain" of the 3D print follows the load-bearing path for maximum tensile strength.

🛠️ Customization Guide

🖨️ Printing Recommendations

  • Orientation: Print FLAT on the bed (Default).
  • Material: PLA for general use; PETG or ASA for high-heat environments (kitchens/cars).
  • Infill: 40% (Gyroid suggested) for strength.
  • Walls: 4-6 Perimeters. The strength of this hook comes from its perimeters!
  • Supports: DISABLED. This model features custom internal geometry to handle all overhangs natively.

🔓 Post-Processing (The First Twist)

Because this is a Print-in-Place part, the internal swivel will have a tiny breakaway support fin.

  1. Once cooled, remove from the bed.
  2. Grip the top hook in one hand and the bottom hook in the other.
  3. Give it a sharp, firm twist. You will hear a satisfying SNAP—this is the internal support fin breaking free.
  4. Enjoy your new 360-degree rotatable hook!
