Heavy Duty 45-Degree Plasma Torch Linear Guide Mount (40x40 Profile)

Overview

This is a robust, functional mount designed to hold a square profile at a precise 45-degree angle. It is engineered to create a stable, low-cost linear guide system, specifically optimized for plasma cutting torches. The design places the profile edge-up to provide a clean track for torch rollers.

The system consists of three parts:

1. Main Mount (Mocowanie profila): Secures the ends of your guide rail to your welding table or fixture.
2. Support (Podpora): An optional part to support long spans of the profile to prevent sagging.
3. Support Angle Bracket (Kątownik podpory): Used to securely fix the support to your frame or table.

I designed this specifically for a 40x40mm profile, but it is versatile enough to work with other similar sizes.

Print Settings (Crucial for Strength)

This is a functional tool part. Do not use standard PLA if it will be near heat.

• Material: PETG (Minimum), ABS, or ASA.
• Wall Loops: 5 (Crucial for strength around screw holes).
• Infill: 25% - 40% (Gyroid or Grid recommended).
• Supports: Not required if oriented correctly.

• M6 Screws/Bolts for all mounting holes.
