Hello!

I designed a bow and arrows for my children, which I would like to share with you here.

The arrows are designed for (purchased) suction cup tips that stick to windows after they have been shot.

It works very well; even at a distance of 5m, the arrows still stick to glass.

Parts needed that cannot be printed:

Bow:

The bow consists of the following main parts:

  • Wings 2x
  • Upper and lower part of the center
  • Connectors 2x

Assembly is as follows:

  1. Remove supports
  2. Insert connectors into the designated grooves
  3. Insert the wings
  4. Optional: Apply superglue to the surfaces of one center part
  5. Place the second center part
  6. Screw in the M3x14mm screws 2x
  7. Thread and knot the rubber cord through each side
  8. DONE!

Arrows:

The arrows consist of two printed parts that must then be glued together:

  1. Apply superglue to the T-joint
  2. Insert and glue
  3. Mount the suction cup to the front by screwing it in
  4. DONE!

Print Plates:

  • Print Plate 1: Center part with connectors (Supports required!)
  • Print Plate 2: Wings
  • Print Plate 3: Arrow 1x
  • Print Plate 4: Arrow 4x

I printed the bow with both PLA Basic and PLA Silk+ from Bambu, all without problems.

Have fun with it, I'd appreciate feedback!
