Instead of stomping around fearfully, he's sitting there like an offended cat, probably pondering his life... or why his arms are still too short
The pose is, of course, anything but scientifically correct – but that's exactly what makes it so good. Everyone knows that moment when you just sit there and pointedly do nothing anymore. Even a T-Rex seems to feel that 😄
