Description

Inspired by old-world shop sign, this divider slides between your books to help you organize your collection by genre.

Customizable: I have included a blank sign template in the files. You can easily add your own text or logos using the "Text" tool in Bamboo studio to create any category you need!

Easy Assembly: Designed to be printed with minimal effort.

Assembly Tips & Hardware

The Chains: For the model in the photos, I repurposed chains from standard keychains. However, any small craft chain will work perfectly. Just make sure the two segments of chain are of equal length to ensure the sign hangs perfectly level.

Installation: The bracket is designed to be held in place by the weight of the books next to it. No screws or glue required for the shelf! You don’t need any messy adhesives to join the pieces. The natural weight and the way they hang ensure they stay securely in place.

Practicality: This makes the assembly much cleaner and allows you to swap or disassemble the sign easily if needed.

The hanging sign is designed to be visible from both the front and the back. It consists of two identical halves that fit together perfectly.

Printing Recommendations

Material: PLA works great. For better result use hilbert curve for top surface pattern.

Color Change: You can costumize the colors of each parts.

Glow-in-the-Dark: Using glow-in-the-dark (phosphorescent) filament for the text, logo, and border. This creates a nice effect once the lights go out. For the best results, ensure the sign is placed in a spot with direct light exposure during the day so the filament can properly "charge" and glow brightly at night.
