Description

Designed handle for the Shining3d Einstar Rockit 3d scanner using FreeCAD by reversing 3d scan.

The handle is for use with SIRUI SC-SH handle and allows to also mount smartphone for screen mirroring the EXStar Hub software.

For the smartphone i am using Smallrig holder which fits perfectly on the grip.

For screen mirroring i am using the Spacedesk Android app which has extremely low latency.

With this handle setup larger parts can be easily scanned with full control on all captured data.

HARDWARE USED:

  • Handle: SIRUI SC-SH
  • Smartphone Holder: Smallrig 4382 metal phone holder

FILAMENT USED:

  • Bambulab PLA BASIC or any other sturdy filament like PLA, ASA, PETG
  • Bambulab TPU 95A (no AMS) to protect the Rockit scanner for scratches

IMPORTANT HINT:

  • Please check tight fit before use to prevent any damage. Every filament has different properties and therefore the fit could be different.
  • Carefully insert and remove the Rockit scanner to not scratch or damage the device.
  • I am not responsible for any damage that could be caused by using this 3d model. Use it on your own risk!
