Poseidon, god of the sea in Greek mythology, is reinterpreted in this sculptural bust as a compact and structural form. The stern face, flowing beard, and trident immediately define the subject's identity, while marine elements – the octopus and shells – integrate into the mass of the bust, transforming classical iconography into a contemporary sculptural language

🏛️ Features

  • Print-ready 3MF file
  • STL model optimized for FDM 3D printing
  • Detailed and balanced sculptural bust
  • Geometry designed to reduce printing issues
  • Scalable from Bambu Studio or other slicers

An alternative STL file with a reinforced trident is also included, ideal for those who want greater robustness or want to print at reduced scales

⚠️ Tips for Optimal Printing

Several print tests have been carried out to optimize the model's behavior

By scaling the bust to 88%, the slicer generally will not insert supports on the trident, facilitating printing for those who prefer to avoid delicate post-processing. The attached 3mf file contains the already scaled bust.
At this scale, the piece measures approximately 12 cm, maintaining excellent visual quality, with clearly legible details and a solid structure

It is important to clarify that supports are not a problem, but a tool: they allow for maximum detail even in the most complex areas.
However, in the thinner and more delicate parts (such as the trident), it is essential to work with:

  • adequate tools
  • extreme precision
  • patience

If removed correctly, the final result is extremely clean and enhances the quality of the sculpture. You can decrease infill to 10% to save time and material, I personally printed it with a 15% infill density

Scaling indications

  • 88% (~12 cm) → recommended configuration: avoids supports on the trident, excellent balance between detail and strength
  • Smaller scales → the trident becomes more fragile; it is recommended to use the file with a reinforced trident
  • Larger scales → no critical issues: the model maintains correct proportions and increases solidity
