Before downloading, you can enter your preferred dimensions directly in MakerWorld, making the box adaptable for everything from tiny components to larger workshop items. The hinge system prints fully assembled, and the geometry is optimized so most printers can produce clean results in PLA even without support, though support is enabled by default in the model.

Instructions

The hinge is intentionally tight to give the box a solid, durable feel. After printing, loosen it by gently rotating the two halves back and forth around the hinge using small, controlled movements until it releases. The hinge tolerance is only 0.2 mm, so avoid printing with slicer tolerances or horizontal expansion values larger than this. Accurate dimensional settings ensure the hinge unlocks cleanly and moves as intended.
