Snap-in cargo eyelets for the Larry Vs Harry Bullitt cargo bike: https://larryvsharry.com/products/original-bullitt

 

Making use of the existing side panel mounting points, these anchors give you somewhat better options for securing loads without wrapping cords/ropes/bungees around the entire platform.

 

Printed as recommended, they're strong enough for a pair to carry the weight of the bike. Although I STRONGLY advise against doing this (these are plastic after all), it was a nice demonstration of the strength of the anchors.

They're a tight snap-in fitting and rely on your printer being accurate (this should not be a problem for Bambu owners).

 

DO NOT PRINT IN PLA.

PLA cold creeps and is entirely unsuitable for this application beyond fitment testing.

 

PETG minimum. PETG-Basic is stronger than PETG-HF but both are mostly suitable. I'd suggest printing and carrying spares just in case. I've printed my day-to-day test mules in PETG-HF.

 

Recommended material: ASA. Strong, creep resistant, UV resistant. It ticks all the boxes.  ABS can also be used but it lacks the UV resistance so might start looking a little manky in 3-5 years and you'll have to print more.

Avoid CF/GF materials. They'll unnecessarily wear your paint and are too stiff with compromised layer adhesion. These need some flex.

 

Recommended settings for all materials on 0.4mm nozzle: 6 walls with infill embedding, 15% gyroid infill. The lowered print speeds are to enhance strength, especially around the flex relief eyelet which will split/delaminate if sub optimal settings are used.

 

Have whipped up both round and flat models to account for different hook systems. I would expect the round eyelets to be stronger and more shock load resistant than the flat eyelets.
