Description

I made a mock fire helmet shield as a retirement gift, thought it was cool to make one for my FB page, and have had a couple people ask for the file. There's an accurate model, and a basic model. The basic model is easy to add text to and edit in Bambu Studio. The accurate model is hard to edit within Bambu Studio. Only way to edit it is to message me for the file or insert mesh into your CAD software and attempt that way.

Tips: I don't suggest PETG for multi color due to the tendency to drag the filament onto the build plate. I do suggest using a support interface, but not required. Included in the pictures you'll see 2 white shields. One is 0.2mm layer height, and the other is smoothed with variable layer height. Another option is to angle the shield 0.5-1.5 degrees at 0.2mm layer height for a woodgrain look like you see with the black shield. This allows you to keep the speed of 0.2mm, without making it look as bad.
