Description

Major drawback of multi color printing is filament that has to be purged to clear nozzle, and that filament is valuable not only in monetary way, but environmental. Recycling filament station are coming in near future and collecting your purged filament becomes a question of today.
I had designed my third accessory for my A1mini with sole purpose of doing that, and it was doing that successfully for a year, and total of 3 pounds were collected.
Design is pretty simple, 3 parts total. Perforated bucket with hexagon shapes and rails in U shape to minimize weight, and external part that slides through in a U shape which works like natural stopper, also its impossible to miss when sliding in blindly because end is rounded diagonally and will center the bucket, and the deflector with hexagons throughout for minimal weight and direct angle for bucket.
