Description

The insignia shown is the classic “meatball” emblem of NASA, 🚀🌖

introduced in 1959 and widely used throughout the 1960s

The design of the seal was approved with an executive order by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1959. The design was slightly modified and colorized with an executive order by President John F. Kennedy in 1961! (*Wikipedia)

Encircling the inner design is a white ring bearing the full name “National Aeronautics and Space Administration U.S.A.” in red lettering 🔴—a formal and authoritative framing that reflects the agency’s identity and mission.
