Description

A compact, foldable, wall-mounted cup holder designed for vans, campers, and tight spaces. When not in use, it folds up almost flat, keeping your space clean and clutter free.

Most cup holders are bulky and not designed for tight spaces. This design prioritizes minimal footprint when not in use, along with clean functional geometry, and structural strength where it matters. The design has detents in the hinges which allow the bottle holder attachment to lock into place horizontally, and allow the whole thing to fold up with a satisfying snap without any complicated latches, giving a quality feel.

Can be used with the arms up for smaller cans or bottles for extra stability, or with the arms folded down for wider things like travel mugs.

Similar designs can be bought on Amazon for around £10, or you can print one for the cost of 65 grams of filament! Having tested some of the Amazon ones, I fixed a few of the key flaws, and this one is definitely superior in terms of strength and functionality.

🚐 Perfect For

  • Camper vans
  • RVs & motorhomes
  • Workshops & garages
  • Boats or small cabins
  • Anywhere space matters

✨ Key Features

  • Folds almost flat – perfect for small interiors
  • 3-piece snap-fit design – no complicated assembly
  • Strong hinge mechanism for repeated use
  • Position locks for base and folding arm gives a quality feel
  • Wall-mounted with 3 screws
  • Optimized for easy, reliable printing

🛠️ Assembly

Assembly is very simple and takes 30 seconds at most - see above GIF.

First hold the bottom piece (with the walls) in one hand. Take the back piece (with the screw holes), and put one of the cones on the side of the bottom piece into the socket in the back piece, with the other side sitting inside the bottom piece. Now push the other side of the back piece towards the second hinge point, keeping it vertical. The hinge should pop into place.

Next, take the top (circular) piece, and put it vertically on top of the top hinge points on the back piece. Push the top piece down and again the hinges should pop in. Rotate the top piece downwards and it should lock into the horizontal position, then push a little more and it should snap in flat.

It's now ready to install using the 3 screw holes in the back piece.
