It has a transparent "observation cabin" at the top (which can be made from everyday materials like beverage bottles or cake domes)
When longhorn beetles or grasshoppers go in, kids can see them clearly. The bugs can easily enter but find it hard to escape, and it won't harm them. If you want to release the bugs back into nature, just pull open the small drawer at the bottom, teaching kids to "observe without disturbing"
