Description

Simple frame designed to mount small action cameras onto the DJI Osmo Mobile gimbal.

The Osmo Mobile is built for smartphones, so using it with lightweight cameras like DJI Action 4 or Action 2 can be unstable and hard to balance. This frame solves that by:

  • providing a larger grip area for the gimbal clamp
  • improving weight distribution
  • adding mounting flexibility

Compatible with:

  • DJI Action 4 (tested fit)Tried using an action camera with the Osmo Mobile and it just didn’t work well.
  • So I made this simple frame to fix the grip and balance.
  • Now it’s actually usable.
  • DJI Action 2 (tested fit)
  • DJI Osmo 360 (tested fit)

Features:

  • integrated 1/4” threaded insert at the bottom
  • stable rectangular frame for better clamping
  • lightweight but rigid design
  • optimized for PETG printing
  • works well

Why I made this

I wanted to use my Osmo Mobile with action cameras, but the clamp couldn’t hold them properly due to size and weight. This frame makes it usable and much more stable.
