Ultra-low cost! Minimalist 5.8L Rice Bucket Filament Holder/PDD Dry Box Rewinder, as low as 3g

    Use a rice bucket or storage box converted into a filament dry box. However, when unloading filament after each print, to prevent tangling, you must open the lid and manually rewind the extended filament back onto the spool. This is not only cumbersome but also compromises the box's airtightness, affecting its moisture-proof performance.

Design Features

Configuration 1: Compatible with PDD Dry Box

Compatible with dry boxes purchased from PDD, fully reuses existing components, ultra-low cost, as low as 3g. If you do not have the steel pipe that comes with the dry box, please print plate 2: active shaft

Installation Steps

1. Insert the core component into the steel pipe shaft that comes with the dry box, keeping the opening flush (If you printed the active shaft, this step is not needed)

   

2. Wrap electrical tape around the steel pipe shaft (or active shaft)
3. Place the shaft into the dry box, secure its position, and use a 5mm drill bit to drill a hole aligned with the shaft's center.
4. Start enjoying the rewind function, when rewinding is not needed, remove the crank and plug the hole with a stopper. (It is recommended to print the stopper with TPU and scale it up appropriately to maintain a good seal)
