Description

Boost Me (for free)

Love this model?  Boosting my models helps offset the cost of creating models like this.  Always remember to support individual designers and small businesses when possible!

A friend of mine recently tasked me with creating a motivational sign inspired by the TV show “The Bear”.  There are other designs out there that are okay, but the perfectionist in me just wasn't willing to settle.  Complete with banana for scale.

The two main features that I wanted in this design were:

  1. A model designed for multicolor printing.  That means ensuring the print can easily be configured in the slicer with multiple colors, not just a filament swap by layer.
  2. Multiple sizes, including a “Jumbo” size that just barely fits on an A1 bed diagonally.

The following sizes are available in this print profile:

  • Jumbo: 265mm x 88mm
  • Large: 254mm x 85mm
  • Medium: 225mm x 75mm
  • Small: 150mm x 50mm
  • Mini: 100mm x 33mm

Don't have a 3D printer?  I sell these in my online shop!  If you don't see a listing available, just drop me a message and I'll get you set up.  https://ernestscustoms.com

A few notes on this print:

  • If printing the Large or Jumbo sizes, I highly recommend using a Bambu Cool SuperTack plate or similar.  PEI plates may not adhere to the corners properly.
  • While printing the Mini size, I recommend using a 0.2 nozzle.  It will work with a 0.4, but some of the fine lettering may be distorted (as seen in my picture).
  • Calibrate your filament and flow level before printing - I did not do this prior to printing, and you'll notice that the black top layer is a little “blotchy”.  I ended up not re-printing because these signs were hung above door frames, and the low lighting hid any imperfections.
