4x4 Explorer Kit for Mini Off-Roader

You can either:

1. Upgrade your existing 4x4.
2. Build a completely new 4x4 with the upgrade kit included.

What parts are needed? 

First, choose your option above. There is a set of instructions for both options and they show all of the parts you need to get.

These 2 options are shown in the 6 print profiles for different printers: “Upgrade kit for existing 4x4” and “Making a new 4x4”

As I can only add one Bill of materials to this page, I have added the parts needed to upgrade your existing 4x4. 

Please note that if you already built the 4x4, there will be some leftover D2 2x12 stainless steel dowel pins (DA009). This means you don't need to get them. You can also re-use the same body shell parts, wheels, and tyres, because there is no change in their shape.

Features:

• Seamless operation with one controller, no switching needed. Use the official cyberbrick controller to seamlessly control 2 receiver modules. One receiver operates the two driving motors and the floodlights, the other receiver operates the winch and front headlights. 
• The battery removal is easy as you only need to remove the two locking pins. Then you can lift out both batteries for charging.
• The 150 rpm motor provides lots of torque for the winch. The car can pull itself!
• Includes detailed instructions.
