I designed this parametric access hatch specifically to be inserted into drywall (plasterboard) panels, particularly for ceiling installations. It provides a clean and practical solution for creating an inspection opening, allowing easy access to wiring, plumbing, or ventilation systems while blending seamlessly into the surface.

The Fusion 360 file is included, so you can adjust the dimensions to match your specific needs. The design features a snap-fit lid for easy access while ensuring a secure closure.

The design is optimized for easy 3D printing with no supports needed. You only need to glue two parts together after printing.
