Description

A compact, fully print‑in‑place storage box designed for fast, reliable printing and easy customization. The model is fully parametric, allowing you to set the exact dimensions you need based on your printer’s build volume or the items you want to store.

The lid is a thin, flexible print‑in‑place hinge, optimized for smooth movement straight off the build plate. No assembly, no supports, no post‑processing.

Features

  • Parametric sizing — choose your own width, depth, and height
  • Print‑in‑place hinge — thin, durable, and tested for repeated opening
  • Clean internal volume — no internal artifacts or support scars
  • Fast to print — ideal for small parts, workshop items, or travel kits

Recommended Print Settings

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • No supports
  • 2–3 perimeters
  • 10–20% infill (depending on box size)
  • Slow first layers for best hinge performance

Use Cases

  • Bits, screws, and workshop hardware
  • SD cards, adapters, and small electronics
  • Travel kits and everyday carry
  • Lightweight organizing inside bags or drawers

Notes

  • The hinge is designed to free itself during printing. If your printer tends to over‑extrude, reduce flow slightly for best results.
  • Larger boxes may benefit from a small brim to ensure clean edges.
