Exagon — 3D Printed Guitar Pedalboard 🎸

Exagon is a simple, compact, and fully modular guitar pedalboard designed to be printed even on smaller printers like the Bambu Lab A1 Mini. No complex assembly, no special tools — just print, source two aluminum extrusions, and you're ready to rock.

The length is entirely up to you: just pick the 2020 V-slot profiles that fit your needs, and Exagon adapts. One row, clean lines, and a modern hexagonal aesthetic. ⚡

Bill of Materials 🔩

Assembly Instructions 🔧

  1. Cut the M4 threaded rods 8mm longer than your 2020 aluminum profiles.
  2. Thread one barrel nut onto each M4 rod.

  3. Insert the rod through the assembly and bring the first barrel nut flush against the printed part.

  4. Slide the 2020 profiles into the slots of the printed brackets.

  5. Thread the second barrel nut on the opposite side and tighten both using Allen keys.

📝 Note: We recommend applying thread locker (frenafiletti) on one side only to ensure the assembly remains serviceable but secure.

Print Settings & Tips 🖨️

  • Compatibility: Designed for Bambu A1 Mini and larger printers.
  • Suggested Materials: PETG or ASA for maximum durability and heat resistance (especially if you play outdoor gigs).
  • Supports & Bridging: * If your printer is well-calibrated (specifically Bridge Flow and Bridge Speed), you can print this without supports.
    • If you haven't calibrated your bridging yet, we strongly recommend using supports to ensure the internal slots for the 2020 profiles remain precise.

Coming Soon 👀

Stay tuned! A dedicated no-velcro mount system specifically designed for the Exagon series will be published shortly, allowing you to secure your pedals without messy adhesives.
