Description
Introducing the “Wooden Bar”, for your low-profile keyboard (exclusively for Nuphy Air75)!
IMPORTANT Printing Notes
It is highly recommended that you only use the original print profile that I uploaded as it's fine-tuned for the most optimal result and finish. Otherwise if you need to tweak something, please pay attention to the following key points:
- Orientation is important! The wood texture side must be facing upward.
- The only supports needed are those around the bottom edges; everything else will bridge just fine without any support.
- To preserve the height and contours of the original spacebar, the 3 small pegs are intentionally designed to be slightly longer than the keycap itself. This will basically allow the keycap to be aligned with the other keycaps on its sides. A little too long or short, it would sink in and look bad, etc.
- Despite those pegs being small and thin, you CANNOT use any brim on them because it would mess up the proper clearances and might be difficult to install if they got even a tiny bit wider. (I'm using a BIQU's CryoGrip build plate, which has excellent grip on PLA).
- If you really have to use brims, try only Outer Brims; or, prefer glue sticks instead.
- That being said, since they have small contact point with the print bed, some Elephant Foot Compensation is required (I have tested 0.14mm to be the best fit).
- Smaller layer height is highly recommended for more detailed finish. Yes, it will print slower but for better quality.
