Description
This angel statue model visualizes the state of autistic children. The angel curls up in a safe space formed by its wings, much like autistic children retreat into their own world, full of detachment and defensiveness towards the outside. Their closed hearts are like these encircling wings, isolating them from the external world. However, the gently unfurled wings also resemble a pair of protective hands, symbolizing that autistic children need care and guardianship. They are like angels with broken wings, requiring us to approach them cautiously, to create an inclusive space for them, and to help them perceive the warmth of the world.
