IKEA 365 - Dry Box - Filament Box - Spool Holder

Hello and Welcome to 3DEraTec!

I had tested many models, but somehow none of them were quite right This led to the idea of designing my own version, taking the following points into consideration:

• fast print time < 4h for everything
• little material, < 130g
• accommodate silica gel, min 50g
• compatible with different filament spools
• Hydrometer
• good handling

Print time: (P1S, 0.4 nozzle) approx 4:0h

Material: 130g

Print profile: PETG, PLA also works Identical print time with Bambu filament

Hydrometer: Round or Square, Bambu Lab or Amazon

Silica gel: any diameter, min 50g / max 150g

Available print profiles:

• round hydrometer (12+6 o'clock & 11+5 o'clock position)
• rectangular hydrometer
• various covers
• Printer A1 mini

Only the IKEA 365 storage container with lid, rectangular/plastic, 10.6 l is required

Info on silica gel

I always use approx 50g in the Ikea boxes, and it lasts about 6 months The less the boxes are opened, the longer it lasts However, the seal and also the box (plastic) always let some humidity pass through (diffuse)

Therefore my tip! If the humidity on the hydrometer is above 25% for a longer period, dry the silica gel again ;-)
