Description
To prevent small uninvited guests from emptying my trash can, I designed a clip. It should also prevent the lid from unintentionally blowing open in the wind
The clip is simply attached to the edge of the bin and "clamped" over one of the handles. To avoid problems with waste collection, I designed the clip so that it does not fit too tightly and can be easily removed before the trash is collected
The clip fits standard trash cans from ALBA and Meinhardt, but it should also fit trash cans from other manufacturers
There are two versions, one for the left side and one for the right side
We will see if the clip works. I printed the clip in PETG, but I'm not sure if it's the suitable material. More heat-resistant materials like ABS or ASA would certainly be better. However, I have no experience with these, as I mainly work with PETG and PLA
