🪥 Oral-B iO Brush Head Holder V2 – with Drip Tray

Version 2 of my brush head holder for Oral-B iO builds on the successful first design and has been specifically improved with a focus on hygiene and water management.

🔧 What’s New in Version 2

• Integrated drip tray
  Excess water is actively directed into a separate tray.
• Drainage holes in the upper part
  Allow water to flow straight down instead of collecting on the surface.
• Optimized holder structure
  Reduced contact areas minimize standing moisture and improve drying.

➕ Additional Update

• Single brush head insert
  A new insert variant designed specifically for holding a single Oral-B iO brush head.

💡 Focus on Hygiene

The design is built to ensure that water is guided away from the brush heads as quickly as possible.

A smoother surface (achieved through fine layer height) can further help reduce residue buildup and improve overall cleanliness.

🖨️ Printing Recommendations (Tested)

• Layer Height: 0.08 mm
  For a particularly smooth and refined surface
• Infill: 12% Gyroid
  Provides sufficient strength with efficient material usage
• Material: PETG recommended
  (better moisture resistance compared to PLA)
• Supports: generally not required

👉 Recommendation

I highly recommend using my included print profile.
It has been tested and provides the best results in terms of surface quality and everyday usability.
