Recycle Your Poops: Travel Mancala Game

This is a compact, travel-friendly version of the classic Mancala game, redesigned with a fun twist: it is meant to be played using your Bambu Lab purge waste (“poop”) as game pieces.

Instead of throwing away filament purges, this model gives them a second life as playable tokens — turning printing waste into something fun and useful.

The board is printed in a single piece and features a fully functional integrated hinge, allowing it to fold and unfold along its central axis without any assembly required.

There are three versions available in the print profile:

• With 4x2 mm magnets
• With 6x3 mm magnets
• Without magnets

Both magnetic versions use a total of 8 magnets:

• 4 internal magnets to keep the board securely closed
• 4 external magnets to hold the board stable in the open (flat) position

The model has been dimensioned and tolerance-tuned to print reliably on any Bambu Lab printer.

This print profile does not include game pieces, as it is specifically designed to be used with your own purge filament. This makes it a great way to recycle waste material and give it a fun, practical purpose.

For the best playing experience:

• Try to use purge pieces of a single color to reduce visual clutter during gameplay
• Trim any sharp or stringy filament ends — smoother, rounder pieces are much easier to handle

This version follows the traditional Mancala layout:

• 6 pits per side
• 1 store (scoring pit) on the right side for each player

Each pit is sized to comfortably hold all the pieces needed for a standard game, while remaining ergonomic for easy picking during play.

A standard Mancala game requires 48 pieces, although some rule variations may use more.
