Light Eurofighter Throw Glider - flies great!
This light hand-launched glider flies fantastically and looks cool too! Its center of gravity is perfectly calculated and ensures a good flight. I built a launching device at the bottom of the plane so that hand-launching works perfectly! The wings are very thin, which makes the aircraft particularly light.
It flies best when thrown slowly and straight forward. The nose of the aircraft should also be slightly tilted upwards so that it flies as far as possible!
Printed in PLA, but PETG should also work. For especially good results, use PLA Aero.
I have an AMS version with multiple colors or a single-color version. The single-color version prints quickly and with little material.
The two elongated throwing handles must be pushed into the designated slots at the bottom of the aircraft. If they don't hold, just use some glue :)
IMPORTANT:
- Use 100% infill
- Print bed must be clean and calibrated
- Print the first 2 layers at 0.1mm layer height, the rest at 0.2mm
- Print the first layer slowly
- When removing the aircraft from the print bed, it must be completely cooled down. Gently try to remove the aircraft from the print bed with a spatula - do not use too much force!
→ Just use my 3mf file, everything is already configured there.
