Here is my latest project: an armored fighter jet inspired by classic grimdark sci-fi universes

The model requires a BASE to stand correctly, the model includes a version with a base and one without for those who only want the aircraft to adapt it to "flying" configurations

Avenger fighter

The basic design was generated and prepared with the aid of artificial intelligence, then hand-finished in ZBrush and Blender, decimated and brought to approximately 600K polygons. This process allowed for cleaning up geometries, optimizing proportions, and removing gross errors from the generated model to try and achieve the cleanest and most pleasant result possible for printing

🔧 Other models in the series:

Printing and Post-production

The model was successfully tested and printed on my Bambu Lab A1 mini, I maximized the size of the model to utilize my A1 mini, but you can scale the model as desired

⚠️ Attention to support removal: Given the complexity of the model and the presence of fine details (such as the heavy weapon and ammunition belt), I recommend removing supports with extreme caution. I strongly advise using precision tweezers and sharp modeling knives. Proceed slowly, starting from less visible areas, to avoid damaging the most fragile parts, haste and force are not your friends, calm, patience, delicacy, and the model will emerge from its protective cage safe and sound

Printing Tips

  • Material: PLA (or material of your choice) I used Sunlu's gray PLA+ 2.0, but any defined PLA works perfectly
  • Supports: Necessary for all parts suspended under the fuselage and for the fin at the back
  • Orientation: Optimized to maximize the printing area on the small A1 mini

I hope you like this model as much as I enjoyed creating and printing it
If you print it, don't forget to upload your photos, I'm curious to see your creations
I remind you that I share these models non-profit, but only for my passion, for my miniature collection, and to keep my printer busy, trying to push the technical level that the A1 mini hardware can give me to the maximum
The images and applied colors are AI suggestions, unfortunately I'm not good at coloring my prints, I need to improve. Showing them in photos could cause nausea and abdominal pain to many people, it's better to avoid exposing my artistic brush side

Happy printing
