Description

Customizable filament label + built-in translucency and layer test in a single 7-minute print.

This is a fully parametric filament sample card designed to organize and identify filaments used with the Holy Grail Filament Dry Box system.

Unlike existing sample tags, this version allows full customization directly in OpenSCAD, including:

- Filament brand (with custom option)

- Material type (PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, etc.)

- Subtype/finish (Basic, Matte, Silk, CF, etc.)

- Color (with custom option)

Additionally, the card includes integrated layer thickness steps (.2 to 1.0 mm), allowing quick visual reference of translucency and layer behavior for each filament.

This makes the card both a label and a functional test piece.

Print time: ~7 minutes
Material usage: ~3.5g
Printer: Ender 3 V3 KE

---

Compatibility:

Designed to fit and be used with the Holy Grail Filament Dry Box ecosystem.

---

Inspiration & Credits:

This project was inspired by the incredible work of MobyMotion and the Holy Grail Dry Box system.

This is not a remix — the model and parametric system were built from scratch — but it is designed to complement and expand the original ecosystem.

Printing Notes:

- Layer height: 0.2 mm recommended

- No supports needed

- Works well with PLA, PETG, and TPU

- Designed for fast prints and minimal material usage

---

Font:

Uses "Liberation Sans Bold"

---

If you use the Holy Grail system, this should integrate seamlessly into your workflow.
