Description

🚐 Fiat Ducato Cup Holder | Driver Side (Bottle/Can Holder)

Have you ever driven a Fiat Ducato (or Peugeot Boxer / Citroƫn Jumper) and struggled to find a place for your drink that wouldn't fly away at the first roundabout? We all know the original storage is... less than ideal.

I designed this specific holder for the driver's side, optimized for absolute stability through precise mechanical fastening. It’s the perfect travel companion for long hauls or van life!

We also have three versions for the passenger.

šŸ›  Project Features

  • Perfect Fit: Tested on X250 and X290 models (2006-present).
  • Versatility: Designed to hold standard 33cl cans, "slim" cans, and 50cl water bottles.
  • Ultra-Solid Mounting: Unlike snap-fit models, this design uses screws for a permanent hold. The addition of a third small screw is crucial to prevent the part from flexing, ensuring total stability and zero vibrations.
  • Ergonomic Design: Does not interfere with leg movement or access to door controls.

šŸ”© Required Hardware

To correctly mount this holder, you will need:

  • 2x 3.5 mm Screws: maximum length 15 mm, countersunk head.
  • 1x 2.5 mm Screw: length 20 mm, countersunk head.

šŸ’” Printing Tips

To ensure the part withstands summer heat inside the cabin, I strongly recommend using the following materials:

SettingSuggested Value
MaterialPETG, ASA, or ABS (Avoid PLA, it will melt!)
Layer Height0.20mm or 0.24mm
Infill20% (Gyroid or Cubic)
WallsAt least 3 or 4 (to provide grip for the screws)

šŸ”§ Mounting Instructions

  1. Position the holder in the dedicated area of the dashboard/door on the driver's side.
  2. Mark the drilling points and proceed with a small 1.5/2mm pilot hole.
  3. Insert the two 3.5x15mm screws into the main holes.
  4. Use the 2.5x20mm screw for the additional anchor point, making sure to fill any gap between the dashboard and the part with a bit of rubber or some washers for perfect stability.
  5. Tighten by hand to avoid stripping the vehicle's plastic.
  6. Finishing: Apply the three included screw caps using a drop of glue to fix them securely in place.
