Description
The Second Gate is the most intuitive symbol and emblem of Tsinghua University's century-long history. It is a classical and elegant “pailou”-style building with blue bricks, white columns, and three arches. On its lintel are carved by the Grand Secretary of the late Qing Dynasty 那桐, who inscribed the three large characters 'Tsinghua Garden'.
