Bill of Materials
Description
A functional angled foregrip designed to mount on standard Picatinny rails of an Airsoft replica. Unlike standard angled grips that only feature a flat angled face, this model includes a dedicated index finger rest to provide a more secure and repeatable hold.
The design consists of two halves that clamp directly around the rail. This allows for straightforward installation and removal without fragile parts or additional hardware.
To assemble the grip, you will need 4x M4 socket head bolts. You can use either of the following configurations:
3x 16mm bolts and 1x 12mm bolt
4x 12mm bolts
The bolts tap directly into the other half so no additional nuts are needed
Printing Recommendations:
- Material: PLA CF, PETG (CF), or ABS/ASA for adequate durability.
- Walls/Perimeters: 3 to 4 walls for structural strength around the bolt holes.
- Infill: 25% or higher (Gyroid or Cubic recommended).
- Orientation: Print the halves flat on their mating surfaces to minimize the need for supports and maximize layer adhesion strength along the clamping axis.
