homee Cube – Magnetic Cap | Dust Cover

This magnetic cover was specifically designed for the homee cube system and reliably protects the contacts on the top from dust without any fiddling during installation

The Cap variant is the most striking of the three versions:
A flat cap with a large, slightly overhanging shield. This creates a distinctive look that immediately gives your setup more presence

The best part:
You can flexibly attach the Cap oriented forwards or backwards depending on what you prefer visually

Important note regarding magnets:
The file includes recesses for magnets with Ø6 mm and 3 mm height.
These must be inserted during printing

• In the slicer, a pause must be set at the corresponding layer height for this
• Be sure to pay attention to the correct polarity of the magnets so that the cover adheres correctly to the homee cube
• After insertion, printing will resume and the magnets will be cleanly enclosed

Print recommendation:
For the best appearance, the Cap should be printed upside down (inverted).
The shield will be supported with support material. This way you get the cleanest surface and the best result
