NEW AND IMPROVED!!!
After a while of using my original LTT/iFixit Screwdriver Case (a remix of kilianherbst's “LTT and iFixit Screwdriver Case (Gridfinity) V1”), I still felt there was room for improvement, as I wanted to include my Mini Jerryrig Knife. So I figured if I was going to make a change that big, I might as well change almost everything else, and spent nearly a month fumbling my way around thousands of non-manifold edges making it better! Here's what's changed in V2:
- I replaced the Stubby Screwdriver slot with one for the Mini Jerryrig Knife, using eitaner's Gridfinity bin as a base, and added a slot to store the extra blades. Both of these slots can have magnets added beneath them to help keep them in place (12x2mm and 6x2mm respectively).
- I moved the iFixit driver's home to the bottom of the case.
- I added 2 more 4mm bit slots (riveting, I know) for a total of 98, and neatened up their arrangement a tad.
- I replaced the slots for the TPU ¼" bit holders with 24 fixed ¼" bit holders (Same capacity as before, just far more condensed).
- Added a separate ¼" slot for the 4mm to ¼" adapter included with my iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit, but you can use it as a standard ¼" bit holder if you'd like.
- And best of all: I added 3 more Gridfinity slots!
I've included options for the bottom case with and without the ¼" bit holders, and for the lid with and without an integrated parts tray.
For complete assembly, you'll need:
- 6 M3x30 screws
- 26 6x2mm magnets
- 2 12x2mm magnets
Printed in eSun PLA Basic Black and Overture Easy PLA Cobalt Blue, Gridfinity bins shown are also printed in Overture Easy PLA Cobalt Blue.
